Twilight is very dim

We went to go see the Twilight movie.  If you haven't heard of it, it's about some vampires and a love story and all the stuff that goes into a vampire dating a human.  My wife has been all about this stuff lately. She saw the movie over Christmas, then started reading the books.  She wouldn't put the dang things down and read more books in the last 4 weeks than I have seen her read in the many years I have known her.

So she is so "in" to these books that I figured there had to be a redeeming quality to them.  Yeah...about that....I was wrong.  The movie was crap.  Bad acting, worse dialog, and special effects that made it look like it was filmed in the early 80's.  The storyline had some promise (who doesn't like vampires?), but it just didn't live up to the hype that was put around it.  I give it 1.3 out of 10 stars, and it only gets 1.3 because my wife loved it so much that I am thinking I may have missed 1.3 units of goodness.

I get to pick the next movie, and it ain't gonna be another Twilight movie....sorry babe :-/
